Two weeks in to the 6 nations and i'm not sure

....How to judge Ireland....

We were pretty crap against Italy, but then they showed against England what a stubborn team they can be.

The French game was pretty unbelieveable.... We had all the possession and territory, loads of line breaks and ended up 43-3 down!!!!! Second half fightback showed what we are capable of. We look a bit like Leinster.....searching for our sort of game - pretty exciting to watch though.

Murphy is not a full back - he's got to move to the wing where he plays for Leicester.

God knows who to put in - I would go for Kearney ....but EOS wont.

Rest weekend - still in training for the half marathon - going ok....

Chunky money's birthday next week - poor little boy still having problems with his back - but he's fine in himself.

Drama princess is in great form - good parents meeting last week - she is pretty bright (I know where she gets it from!!)

The nag is in heaven since Ikea opened in MK.......I'll be on the bloody streets by Christmas..

Munster and Leinster rip English clubs another hole

What a weekend of rugby.......

Munster were simply awesome against Sale. Leamy, Foley and Wallace ran the game, whilst O'Gara really stepped up his passing game to put Murphy and Halstead into space.

Leinster were imspired against Bath. To be honest I was worried about BOD, not now. He was almost at his best - brilliant lines, subtle hands brutul defence and trunovers. Darce is back in great shape and Horgan had a great game.

Bring the 6N on!!!!!

Changing jobs, 6 nations and all that

Chunky monkey's birthday next month - the little lad wil be two. He's recovered well from his burn, but needs to wear a pressure vest. He is begining to look like on of those old fashion wrestlers (Big Daddy or Mick McManus). The little tank keeps nicking food from my plate......I think he's got a bit of dog in him from somewhere....

Drama Princess continues to do well at school - her bossiness is improving to and we've seen some classic tantrums........the stage beckons....

The golf breaks website is nearly completed - working with the web developers has been a pretty good crack and not too stressful!!!!!

Despite running 'my own' business for 3 years now, I'm still learning all sorts of boring elements. The British Tax system seems to be set up just to confuse people!!! hopefully I wont do a lester Piggot......

6 Nations is just around the corner:

4th Feb Italy at home
11th Feb France away
26th Feb Wales Home
11th March Scotland Home
18th March England Away

To be honest I think we can hope to win our home games and may be run England close..

The squad looks good and EOS hasn't totally igonred the new boys. Reddan, Heaslip and Kearney are all named - only Heaslip looks as though he may start....

Roll on Italy.

New Year New Life!

After a fantastic Christmas with the family, 2006 brings a year of expectation. The Nag, Drama Princess and Chunky Monkey all had a great Christmas.

Spent most of it at home - just the four of us. Best break I've had in a while - I was almost ready to get back to work.

The breaking news is that I will be running the golf breaks business fulltime from 30th January 2006. I cant wait, we've got a good plan together and am excited and shi**iung myself all at the same time.....

We'll also be doing corporate golf days, golf clothing and golf society days.

We saw my parents - Dad's Velcade... it is one of those postcode lottery problems.... Its a disgrace - if he moved to wales or scotland he would be treated.... what is wrong with this place........

On a sporting note.... Leinster beat Munster which set the alarm bells ringing in planet Rugby - the best forum i've been on by a mile - but not for the feint hearted.......

Sister announced that she is cheggers...... that will be my 7th neice/nehpew....... Uncle PP will be popular next year........

Waiting to see the last episode of Lost - its been the best thing on telly for a while - but the more I watch of it - the less i Understand......

Sudoku - Did one yesterday....worried i might become an addict!!!!!

Manic April........

People say that April brings Showers and hope to all men, but to me its just bringing an absolutley manic month. The first weekend of the month we're celebrating our lottery win with the rest of the EPA crowd, so we're out for a meal and then Saturday I'll be chasing the white ball down a hole hopefully with the Captains Day Golf event.

Then the Nag jets off to San Fran with my skin and blister for a long weekend........ mind you the Masters is on so at least I can watch it in peace and quiet (assuming I can get Drama Princess and Chunk off to bed on time).

Weekend after that I've got two christenings for 2nd cousins, or some distant relative in law and then we're off back home to Ireland for my cousins weedding......in Westport .....for a week...... nuff said.

The Pope is on his death bed it seems, it will be a total bummer when he passes away.

Big Week for the Irish boys this weekend - Leinster face Leicester, while Munster travel to Spain to play Bairitz. 2 tough games - they may both struggle to go further.

Got to check this out - poor old george bush!!!!! Failure!

Anyway lets hope Paul Lawrie can go well in Portugal and that Padraig Harrington returns for the Masters despite his Dad's illness.
